Keanu Heydari is a doctoral candidate in History at the University of Michigan. His research explores Iranian student radicalism in postwar France, with a focus on transnational activism, diaspora politics, and the intersection of surveillance and cultural production. He has taught courses on modern global history and historical writing, and he serves as a Graduate Student Instructional Consultant at the university’s Center for Research on Learning and Teaching. His work engages with Persian, French, German, and English-language sources, and he has published translations and academic articles in French and English. His current dissertation project is titled "Iranian Student Radicalism in France, 1945–1979."
