Sari Krieger Rivera, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Alfred University in Alfred, New York. She earned a doctorate in political science at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, a masters in political science at New York University and a bachelors in environmental policy from Binghamton University. Her research and teaching interests take an historical approach to American political institutions. Her first book is entitled Incentivizing Injustice: The 2008 Financial Crisis and Prosecutorial Indiscretion. In her personal life, she is passionate about animal rescue and advocacy.
