Clio & the Contemporary is seeking two new editors to join our team!
We are an open access, history website run by volunteer academic historians. Our website connects history to the present and provides timely advice and resources for historical professionals. We publish essays and advice pieces, as well as teaching resources like syllabi and assignments.
We are looking to expand our team to include two new editors who have geographic specialties outside of the United States or who specialize or work in public history.
Our current team includes three general editors, as well as two editors focused respectively on current events and our “Surviving Grad School” series. All editors work with prospective authors, copyedit submissions, and utilize WordPress and social media to publish and share posts.
Interested applicants should send a current CV along with a letter attesting to their interest and experience. Please send materials as a single PDF to clioandthecontemporary@gmail.com. Applications received by March 15 will receive full consideration.
